José Comparan

José has been in the hardwood flooring industry for 25 years and has spent the last 14 years as an essential member of the California Wood Floors team. As our lead Color Specialist, he is the expert behind the custom stains, finishes, and tones that define so many of our signature projects.

When he’s not in the shop perfecting a finish, José can usually be found outdoors. He loves camping with his kids and friends, spending time near the beach or exploring mountain trails, and enjoying the company of his adventurous dog—who even likes to climb trees.

José’s eye for color, dedication to his craft, and love for the outdoors make him a valued part of the CWF family.
