Set against the dramatic landscape of Big Sky, this Yellowstone Club residence, designed by Rebecca Loewke Interiors, called for flooring with warmth, depth, and a strong sense of place.
There’s something special about seeing our floors become part of a home nearly a thousand miles from California.
For this beautiful Montana residence, California Wood Floors provided wide-plank European Oak flooring in a rich, medium tone that feels perfectly at home in its mountain surroundings.
The warmth and natural variation of the European Oak complement the home’s layered mix of stone, wood, and textural finishes, creating a seamless foundation throughout the space. The wide planks add scale and presence, while the medium-toned finish brings depth without overpowering the architecture or the incredible Montana setting.
The completed residence was recently featured in House Beautiful, showcasing Rebecca Loewke Interiors’ warm and timeless approach to modern mountain living.
For this Yellowstone Club project, our team coordinated the flooring from start to finish—including material selection, custom finishing, fabrication, logistics, and installation. Working nearly a thousand miles from our Redwood City headquarters required thoughtful planning and coordination, while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and attention to detail we bring to every project.
